In my part of the world, cosplayers that join the costume competition are required to perform a short skit complimenting their character. Is it the same at this event?

HOOOOOOO!!!! They're given around 2 minutes to show off however they want. the kira yamato actually did "doble kara" with half of him as Lux, just to do a short skit. A new prize was made that he won: 'gender-bender'
